Tied up among the fishing boats in Dunmore. Again we are the only sailing boat in the harbour. We have been sailing for 5 weekends now and we have still only seen two cruisers, Crown Duel last week, and Midnight Express now moored out outside the harbour. Truly extraordinary, given the ideal combination of wind and sun over these last weeks!
Lunched with Geoff in The Bay Cafe and Geoff enquired about the times of buses for Waterford City. But, surprise, surprise, there are no buses on public holidays or weekends........the very times that one might wish to visit a picturesque and beautiful seaside village!!!! Ummmm....Darwin Award for facile planning I think. In the end Geoff ended up making a cardboard sign and hitched his way home. Good for him.

I think you'll find the lack of other sailboats in Dunmore harbour is down to the unwelcoming attitude of the harbourmaster. I would be careful leaving your boat there unattended.
